Greetings to you. I am Hari Ramaswamy residing in the Chennai's north-eastern suburb of Tondiarpet. I am writing this e-mail with regards to The Academic Year Ambassadorial Scholarships - 2010. I am currently pursuing the penultimate year of my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Psychology. Apart from this, I learn French and Chinese as I love learning languages. As you may know, The University of Madras exams are about to start in matter of two or three days. In fact for some it has already begun. Currently, I will sit my fifth semester exams. So far there have been no backlogs in my degree examinations nor in the language exams. A I have come to the end of my degree, I needed to make further educational / professional plans. I chose to do just a one year study program in Australia. I have applied to various top universities in Australia including The Universities of Sydney, Melbourne, ANU and Monash. To enable myself study this 12 month programs, I would ideally require scholarships. And for this, I kindly request your help. I think, Tondiarpet comes under your control. Hence, I might have to apply through you. You would have to nominate the most suited person from your district and send the application to Rotary International. I am sure you would know the procedures better than I do. Hence, I am in doubt with the deadline of this scholarship. I recently contacted Rotary International and I received a response from them saying that each RI district would have its own deadline. Hence, I would like to kindly request your help in help me applying for this scholarship. I would like more information on these scholarships and an application form for 2010 Academic Year Ambassadorial Scholarships. Kindly e-mail them to me so that I can do the needful from my side and submit the same after 14th November 2009 as I have my University of Madras semester exams until then.
